The PVCMed Alliance was prominently featured at the 3rd Annual Future of PVC Compounding, Production, & Recycling Forum, which took place on March 14-15, 2024, in Brussels, Belgium. This event also offered participants the flexibility to join via a hybrid online platform, accommodating a global audience.
Ole Grøndahl Hansen, serving as Project Leader for the PVCMed Alliance, took the stage to shed light on the future of PVC in the healthcare sector, especially in light of the recent ECHA Investigation Report on PVC and PVC additives. His presentation delved into the shifting dynamics within the PVC medical devices landscape, capturing the audience's attention with insightful analysis and forward-looking perspectives.
A notable highlight was the Q&A session, where Hansen fielded numerous inquiries concerning PVC's application in medical devices. This discussion underscored the significant strides being made toward circularity in the medical device sector.
