In the recent MD+DI article, “Identifying Recycling and Circularity Opportunities for Healthcare Plastics,” the Healthcare Plastics Recycling Council calls for recycling to solve the challenge of increasing medical plastic waste due to coronavirus.

In a follow-up op-ed, PVCMed Alliance Project Manager Ole Grøndahl Hansen calls for healthcare recycling initiatives that are easy to implement. These initiatives could build on the decade-long experience of successful recycling of PVC-based medical devices.
